In 1992 due to changes in legal requirements for customs agents, Coltrans started to work in this area. In 1995 the laws changed again and therefore the Colmas Sociedad de Intermediación Aduanera Ltda was founded on May 10, 1995. Since December 2022, Colmas is member of the Leschaco Group.
Colmas has offices in the Colombian cities Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Medellín, Buenaventura, Barranquilla, Cali, Cartagena, Pereira and Ipiales.
